Events
* The Great Ziggurat Challenge has returned! Voyage to the distant Zig and battle for domination and Zig-exclusive rewards!
Quality of Life and Interface
* Improvements to the Faction Renown store to display in a more accessible way and show more clearly what boons your faction already owns.
* Servitor of the Grave now extends the duration of a corpse by one minute on casting, to avoid situations where summoned corpses immediately despawn.
* If you give an item to a factionmate in your Stronghold and they do not have inventory capacity, the item now goes to their Footlocker (if their Footlocker has room) instead of giving you an error message. The game notifies both giver and receiver when this happens. Faction Leader-accessible safe logs will have a record of times that this happened.
* Resetting a character restarts the character with any boss-fight reward CP such as from the Great Wyrm.
* When you choose a Tier 2 class, everyone in the tile now gets a message notifying them of the class that you have ascended, descended or transcended into.
* Character creation no longer has a chance to place you in a faction you've been user-banned from.
* Meditation now tells you if you've received Master of Vigor benefits from healing poisons.
* Heal Self now tells you if your use of the skill removed poisons.
Major Bugs
* Fixed an issue that kept Sol Invictus from having its core effect.
* Glyphs now properly interfere with Cloak of Air and Wisp Form seep actions.
* Fixed a bug where Cloak of Holy Radiance didn't give the Holy bonus vs Stronghold wards if the user attacked with an enchanted weapon.
* Fixed an issue where Homing Beacon cost the greater of Faction Level * 6 or 50 instead of the lesser of these values.
Minor Bugs
* Fixed an issue where Heavy Items could be retained by an Angel or Demon who picked them up whilst within their class-acceptable moral range only to fall out of that range.
* Fixed an issue where Harbinger of Conquest and other Status Effects that have modifier text (such as Phantasmal Terror and Steady Aim) applied those modifiers to other status effects.

All portals are currently open for business they are located at (5, 30 Stygia), (35,34 Sewers) (under Sunset), and inside (9,34 Elysium)

We already have a Ziggurat in Stygia. Will he be involved? |

In an earlier breath, there were a number of King of the Hill sort of challenges that tracked kills and deaths and time spent standing in the Stygian structure The Great Ziggurat!
I believe we used to track each kill ourselves in a forum post, but perhaps it’s more automated now. Time will tell!
Edit: Time had already told shortly before my reply! Details here!
(Also how did I not see Plscks reply here? Smol brain. No think.) |

There is currently no plan to post the winners, they are free to post themselves, or other if they would like.
As far as the first week went, it was a little short but I happen to know from asking around who the winners were. Edgar Flume won top kills with 14, Elsha won runner up with 10, my Random Janitor won most deaths with 11, and the mortal Ubel won runner up in deaths with 8. Not bad for a short week!
Can't wait to see how the number look this week and who the winners might be!! _________________ "Hey, don't talk about bacon." - Frank Lapidus

Nope, no prize for the longest actually in the Zig. In the first contest a decade ago that was a possible win condition but it proved to be a pain to track, so it was changed to top deaths and top kills. _________________ "Hey, don't talk about bacon." - Frank Lapidus
