Again revenants and vampires. Yes.
Looking at the list of possible effects for a revenant, I once again noticed that sometimes it is necessary to bite the PM. This is a real test, in fact, which takes away thoughts of their attack, even when they are from your faction.
Therefore, I had an idea: add a skill to the revenant that will allow him to attack with PM's fangs without causing a pets reaction (Although, an unenviable fate awaits the awkward revenant if he did not manage to escape from the tile with the enemy PM in tick pets) ... Or the first blow with fangs from a revenant on this tick (All subsequent blows will be perceived with aggression (But then it will be a pity to give 30-60 Cp for this skill ... Probably ....))
I have two different solution ideas that would (probably) fix the original problem:
1) Easy solution:
Add a new pet stance to not retaliate against actions of faction members above the rank of Initiate. The rank restriction is to prevent abuse by temporarily joining the faction just to be able to safely attack the pet master.
2) Hard solution:
Replace current set of stances with a set of a few yes/no toggles:
- aggressive/passive to faction members (this one could be further split to separate toggle for each faction rank)
- aggressive/passive to faction allies
- aggressive/passive to faction enemies
- aggressive/passive to others
Current passive stance would be equivalent to setting all of the toggles to passive, while various "aggressive to XYZ" stances would be equivalent to setting one or more of the toggles to aggressive.
And yes, I am fully aware it would be a nightmare to present that in current UI, that's one of the reasons I labelled the solution as hard. But perhaps Breath 5 will see enough UI changes to make it at least doable.
And of course the easiest solution is player cooperation - politely ask the pet master to temporarily set their pets to passive, to allow revenant a safe bite.

This has a player cooperation solution. Exalted Fauna was added as a quirky fringe mechanic that is only a couple steps from an easter egg, and there's a reason it was one of the last Fangs effects to be found. We're not going to add skills or rework major mechanics to make it more common.
