The new pet damage reporting allows for some careful checking of AoE numbers. In this case the AoE is supposed to be capped at ((keener lvl)^2)/2, which is (30^2)/2 = 900/2 = 450. There were no other characters or pets present in this case, a very controlled experiment.

Based on the timestamps, two quick keens. Damage totals by my math were 471 and 483. Am I wrong?
I think this is an element of AoE, or at least that's how it worked in nexuswar, it might not be explicit in the wiki. If you rolled say 449 damage on a 450 cap, you still get another attack roll and that lets you bust the cap.
