Happy Halloween!
For this year we're going to have a competition. Really it's an excuse to get people back in Kaleidescopia and murder each other but hey, why not?
What's going to happen
1) Sign up with a character here or by whispering to an admin character, see further down. Limit of one character per person, open to any character you want.
2) Get teleported by an admin over to Kaleidescopia (best plane, fight me if you disagree) when the competition starts.
3) Kill people (or don't, I'm not the boss of you). Don't die.
4) Get the most kills? Get a prize. Last one standing? Get another prize. Maximum of one prize per person - if you're both the last person standing and have the most kills, the person who survived the second longest gets the second prize!
5) The prizes? No idea. That's where you come in. You win, you get to get a custom made item. You want a weapon that literally turns people into cookies? Well that was a thing. You want a thingy that does some other thing? Sounds good.*
Interested? Either stick a post in the thread with your character link or send a whisper to a Greater Death Servitor at 32,26 Laurentia. Competition starts at about 22:00 Game Time/GMT 05/11/2019. If you're like me and too lazy to work out time zones have a countdown
*Terms and conditions apply. We'll get you to pester/work with one of the dev team to figure out the details/balance, may take a while before you actually get your prize.
NB: Phylacteries, Strongholds, Conduit marks, Void Walker stones, Void Walker Stepping of the Corner, Eye of Death and Demon Tracker are all disabled. If you want to portal your way out that's totally fine but you won't be able to return.
Edited in a link to the Kaleidescopia wiki page. Edited 11/4 for the EOD and Demon Tracker exceptions.

Tem Shop will send out a special employee to assist you during the event and supply you with any necessary healing and various other goods and services!
You can even brutally murder said employee once you are done if that is what you wish! (How cruel...)
Bidding will start at the low price of 20 Newspapers and will last until 04/11/2019 2200 GMT (24 hours before the event begins).

Halloween Costume Shops have appeared throughout the Nexus! There's one for each of the major planes, go find 'em! (this post will eventually be edited with their locations, but go find 'em!)
Halloween Costume Shops are full to bursting with spooky, festive outfits, and trick or treating on their outsides gets you lots of treats!
I should probably warn people preparing - you'll start off concealed but Kaleidescopia is a chaotic place. Don't expect to remain invisible or hidden for long, particularly as the amount of players decreases.

Someone found the Laurentia one, and it's on the Hypermap!
