I want my character to end up as a void walker but the wiki page for VW says the entrance class is pariah. Is it possible to choose myrmidon for tier 2 and still choose void walker for tier 3?
Your Tier 2 choices determine what Tier 3 choices you have available. So if you chose to be a Myrmidon at Tier 2, you will only be able to access Eternal Soldier, Nexus Champion, and Revenant as your Tier 3 class.
A good idea for the future is to figure out which Tier 3 class you want to be when you first make your character, so that you can prepare for it as you go along. There are certain skills that work a lot better with some classes than others, and if you go in without a plan it is easy to accidentally waste points on skills you can't really use later.
However, this is all part of learning the game! There are some pretty cool classes the Myrmidon has access to. Revenants are (somewhat) similar to Void Walkers in that they usually have the same archetype--hunters/DPS. If you would like some help planning out any builds you're interested in, there are a lot of really experienced veterans around who would be happy to help.
