Have you ever found yourself downtrodden on the streets, unwilling to surrender your freedom to the corps by becoming a wageslave? Have you ever hacked a computer from the inside like an even cooler version of Tron? Have you ever called upon your bear totem to summon a fire spirit so you could create a distraction so your covert ops ally doesn't get spotted? No? Not even once? Man, you don't know what you're missing. Lucky for you, we can help.
Welcome to the 5th world. The year is 2075, and it's been a little over 60 years since the awakening happened and magic returned to the world. Almost everything is controlled by the megacorps now. Almost. Nothing can control the street, yet. Although they try. You're a shadowrunner. You are free to do whatever you want, whenever you want. Which also means you're not beholden to slaving away for a meager paycheck 40 hours a week just so a corp can widen its influence a little. You work taking whatever jobs you want. You're freelance, selling your skills to pay the bills. It just happens that more often than not, people looking to hire you are looking for discretion, a lack of traceability, and a few bodies put in bags.
We're looking for a few good (or not so good, we're not picky on the whole morality thing) runners to join our team. Previous experience in the shadows (or any other RPG setting) is not required. We meet up Fridays, at 7:00 PM Pacific time. Must be over 18 to apply, as the Discord server we use has a rule about that. We communicate through voice chat on Discord, so please have a mic. We can and will help you make your character if you need it, and you're allowed a 2 session grace period where you can change anything you like because it's easy to forget something when buying your gear.

This sounds really interesting and I would gladly join if only I lived in a compatible time zone.
But I still wish you good luck with your shadow runs - may the inevitable unforeseen complications be not too much complicated, and may no-one ever have a "brilliant" idea to make a deal with a dragon
