- T.T. Pellier grunts and stands on her head. (2017-04-20 18:16:33).
- T.T. Pellier starts sweating bullets as she tries to move around the room, while standing on her head, while filibustering about the Leafs. (2017-04-20 18:16:42).
- T.T. Pellier hollers, jumps up, and starts dancing enthusiastically, the last and most important step in getting rid of an old recipe. (2017-04-20 18:16:58).
- T.T. Pellier said, "Ya know, this all seems, kinda, uh, superfluous. But it has to be done. Curse you, eidetic memory!"
So, what, you're telling me that isn't the optimal way of doing things?
This should probably go in suggestions, but while we're on the subject...
Maybe it should cost twice the MP to 'erase' a recipe (conduit/guild decreasing the cost?), but you should be able to store multiple recipes..?
I'm actually thinking that you should just be able to store 20-40 recipes, period, with multiple copies using different ingredients.
It'd make non-transmute alchemists more viable, alchemists of all types a bit more flexible, and also increase the benefit for factions to have more than one alchemist.
One might have several recipes for CC and Planar Protection, one might be an Affinity specialist, etc...
I use Sledgehammer on the head which should only take 1AP unless you don't have proficiency in melee.
Having able to store multiple Recipe is an interesting idea but it wouldn't make non-transmute Alchemist viable. It would make it the most optimal way to build an alchemist and just carry multiple recipes of everything. Unless, there's a limit to the number of recipes you can carry.
Yes, that's what I meant when I suggested 20-40 total.
So one could (presumably) have one or two copies of every potion, quite a few for specific potions, or...
Well, obviously the numbers'd have to be fudged by balance professionals, and I didn't do the best job of clarifying it, but we're on the same page.
Especially about the 'Sledgehammer-on-the-head' method.
Minor concussion is the best status effect!
