Please adhere to normal forum mafia rules and be respectful of eachother.
Rules:
-You may PM eachother during the day, so long as you send a copy of the PM to me. I will then run each PM through tekbot on IRC to simulate the possibility of a whisper leak (I will be rolling a d20 for the odds, a critfail is a leak), or you may INTENTIONALLY LEAK a PM by messaging me with the word LEAK clearly indicated in the PM. Size, color, and bold/underline will help point this out. The 'LEAK' will be deleted in such a case. I might fail to notice the PM right away, so just nudge me if I do a votecount or something of the sort without leaking it.
-You may NOT quote your role PM.
-At night, the mafia can communicate freely to eachother via PM.
-As on the site, the Watcher and Lookout do not visit when they check someone.
-The game will start at night.

Murder at Mafia Mansion?
A murder took place last night at Mafia Mansion around 11:00PM last night. Chad [REDACTED] was at the mansion for an unknown reason, and a butler at the mansion reported the body at around 7:00 this morning. Authorities are enforcing a curfew for the day while they investigate. It will be lifted at midnight tonight. This has been Luke Atmey for Channel 12 news.

Day dawns and the town finds out that tragedy has struck again!
Shadok was found dead last night outside his home. He appears to have been shot at point blank range. He was found with a journal (the words inside written in illegible handwriting) and a pair of binoculars. It was obvious he was likely the Watcher.
The state authorities have decided it is better for the town to take justice into their own hands with this one. The curfew is no longer enforced, and the town may meet.

Alright, first post. Hm...
Well, lessee.
I think the butler had a personal vendetta against Chad. The police won't give his last name because they're trying to keep the information from the family for as long as possible.
Did anybody even like Chad? Honestly, I think it was the butler. I have no idea who killed Shadok, though. Probably someone trying to protect the butler, but who? I would say it's whoever owns this mansion, but this place is a timeshare. Shadok and I are the only ones who didn't/don't own a piece of this place...
I'm tonight's target, aren't I?
Well, someone just *assumed* that Shadok had a problem with the whole Chad thing and that he was going to blow the lid off of everything. But, honestly, whoever did this - you could have hired a new butler. It's on, now.
