Don't have an account yet? You can create one. Registered players can create up to three free characters to battle, team up with your friends and explore the worlds of the Nexus! To create a character once you have registered, click on Game Map at the top of the page.
If you were reactivating an old faction, you'd start it up again with your prior rank and just have to get an admin to promote you to leader; it happens all the time, as well as faction leaders idling out and not promoting anyone else before they go.
If this is a brand new faction, that sounds like a bug.
Teksura's helped me out with that in the past, but I'm sure any admin could help you out; just PM them.

Hm. Did you accidentally leave and rejoin? ...also this might not be the case or how it works, but what happens if someone tries to make a faction that has the exact same name as a faction that once existed in the past but no longer is listed on the factions page?
ANYWAY. That is strange, and this is probably not the right place to put this thread, given General Discussion is for non-NC stuff. I'd either post it in Bug Reporting or PM one of the admins. In either case with a more descriptive subject line, and links to the faction page and the character page.
