Nahhhh, in the DMG there's a conversion chart for Squares to Feet/meters. Just a matter of using that instead of a grid. Smile

Tek is definitely right though that ASCII maps aren't hard to make at all. Over on RPOL I was one of the admins of a 4e PvP campaign. It was tons of fun, and we were able to whip up all sorts of stuff.

This most likely wouldn't be so map focused though, and more role play and such.

@Tek - How does TekBot work with interacting with dice rolls? Do you just have to do /roll xdY or anything different? Smile

TekBot responds to the !Roll command. For example:

[16:18:25]  <Teksura> can roll more than one dice
[16:18:39]  <Teksura> provided they have the same number of sides
[16:19:14]  <Teksura> !roll stats
[16:19:16]  <TekBot_v2> Teksura rolled up a new character! Base stats are:
[16:19:16]  <TekBot_v2> Teksura's 1st stat: (3 dropped) 4 5 4 - Total: 13

[16:19:41]  <Teksura> Can auto-roll stats, but generally this is a bad idea for a campaign because it's easy to get crazy high, or crazy low stats.

RPGCrossing happens to have those as forum functions... even with warnings if you tamper with the rolls in post while editing it, pretty neat...

...but pure play by post is slow, IRC sounds great.
