The exact order may vary. Main question is: I'm leveling by reading books. That's boring. I don't want to pick up a combat spell, though, not yet at least. I could take alchemy, but I was told that once I get pets, I might not have time to do alchemy. Also, if I get alchemy and level through it, it means I'm not reading books, which means I'm not hitting my book quota's at T3. I don't actually want to take HtT because you can't turn it off, and I don't want to accidentally murder goodly mortals and stuff.

If I don't take alchemy and transmutation, then what -should- I be taking?

I do plan on taking Thunderbolt, to finish off targets, but that's more of an "end game raid thingie", I guess. Or maybe for target shooting?

Glyphs vs evil are great for LS. HoZ/HtT can help if you want your pets to be on defensive stance, or aggressive vs hostiles if you are in a faction (make sure to have the evil factions listed there for the most part).

You absolutely positively want Brothers' Bond. Rather skip the wheel if need be, but this lets you summon an average of 2.5 sprites at once. Absolutely necessary for any LS

Mystic Mail is garbage (doesn't stack with mundane armors); rather use armor or rely on defensive blessings in acute defense situations.

Forget attack spells though. You will not be using them ever. Glyphs on the other hand, as well as blur (which stacks with defensive blessing results) can be triggered from gems if you have learned the spell, and it won't cost gem charges whenever you get the "Transcend Spellgem" result (which is useless if you have no utility spells to trigger).

Alchemy isn't being used in T3 alot, yes, but as a LS you are pretty unconstrained with your T2 CP. Definitely don't get any attacking option besides pets. If you need to spend CP on "something", more glyphs always do well (you can trigger them with the right prayer result for 1AP/1MP/no charge!)

Well, despite being pacifist, I'm actually looking for "aggressive PM play". That is, PM raiding - bash in ward, let the tank(s) soak up the pets, let the pet master do the cleaning. I recall that in NW, this was a very effective tactic for the Wheel, since it rejuvinates on kills.
